Millwall are in patchy form, losing three and winning two of their last five. In midweek, Gary Rowett’s men fell to a 3-2 loss to fellow Londoners Queens Park Rangers. The Lions were 2-0 up at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, but the R’s scored three times in the second period to win the points.
Millwall were beginning to put things right at The Den after winning just one home game until February. Before the 2-0 loss to Blackburn Rovers in their previous home fixture, the Londoners were unbeaten in six on home turf, winning three and drawing three.
Millwall’s play-off hopes are pretty much done and dusted, but Rowett will want his side to finish a respectable season on a high. They have some tricky games on the horizon, so they could do with a positive result from this home fixture.
Middlesbrough Preview – Can Boro make it three wins on the spin?
Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough are starting to find some form again after a woeful start to the year. Since four defeats and a draw from five, Boro have won five of their following eight in the Championship.
