Millwall Preview – Will the Lions stay in the hunt with three points?

Millwall have really kicked on since late January, claiming a string of wins to fire their way into top-six contention. Since a 1-0 loss at Blackpool on 22nd January, the Lions have won nine, drawn six and lost three of 18 Championship matches.

Gary Rowett’s boys are unbeaten in four, winning two and drawing two. At St Andrew’s last weekend, Benik Afobe’s injury-time penalty rescued a point. However, after Sheffield United’s win over Cardiff City, Millwall have slipped three points behind sixth with two games to play.

Millwall need to win their last two and hope for favours elsewhere. They have a tough final game, though, as they make the trip to the Vitality Stadium to face Scott Parker’s Bournemouth next weekend.

Peterborough United Preview – Can Posh upset the Londoners at The Den?

Peterborough United have been out of their depth in the Championship this season. Staying in the second tier was the priority after finishing runners-up to Hull City in EFL League One last term, but Posh were recently relegated back to the third division after just one year away.

They have been in decent form of late, losing just one of the last five. Before last weekend’s narrow 1-0 home loss to promotion chasers Nottingham Forest, Grant McCann’s boys had secured back-to-back wins over Blackburn Rovers and Barnsley.

Millwall vs Peterborough United Betting Advice

Peterborough picked up an impressive 2-1 win over Millwall when they met at the Weston Homes Stadium in December. Tom Bradshaw gave the Lions an early lead, but Posh were level 20 minutes into the second period thanks to Dan McNamara’s own goal. Three minutes later, Jonson Clarke-Harris’ effort proved to be the winner.

This will be the first meeting between the pair at The Den since a League One affair in 2017, which Millwall won 1-0. The Lions have won their last three at The Den against United.
