Moreirense play host to Portimonense as the betting tips continue in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, and another chance to make some money on Friday night.
Moreirense have won three of their last four in the Portuguese top flight with wins gained over Feirense, Maritimo and most notably, a 3-1 win away at Benfica although I fancy Benfica had one eye on their midweek Champions League clash with Ajax.
Nevertheless, Moreirense grabbed all three points and they’ll fancy their chances of making it another three on Friday night at their Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas as they chase a third win on the trot on home turf.
A home record of 2-1-1 4/4 includes recent back-to-back wins over Feirense and Maritimo and they’re unbeaten in their last three encounters at home with Portimonense.
Onto the visitors, and Portimonense sit in 11th place which is largely thanks to a fairly decent home record which stands at 2-2-1 10/9 which includes wins against Vitoria Guimaraes and Sporting CP.
Away from home, Portimonense have struggled so far this season, collecting just one win from their four away matches to date which was last time out with a 1-0 win at Nacional. However, they’d previously lost their first three away matches of the season in the Primeira Liga with defeats at Chaves, Rio Ave and Desportivo Aves.
With just one away win from their last nine on the road at this level, things don’t look too promising for the visitors against a solid Moreirense outfit on Friday night.
