Nadia Podoroska Preview – Pdoroska back in the groove
It has been some 2020 for Nadia Podoroska, whose form throughout the calendar year has been fantastic.
She is a player on the up and is currently ranked inside the top 50 in the world.
Going back to the French Open this year, Podoroska started in the first qualifying round and put together an eight match winning streak in Paris to get to the semis.
She was stopped there by Iga Swiatek, but in the quarter finals, Podoroska had taken an exemplary win over third seed Elina Svitolina.
The French Open form was just not a one of for the Argentinean this season.
Prior to Roland Garros she had reached the semi finals of the Prague Open and then had collected an ITF title in France.
The clay is her better surface, but she has made a winning start in Austria but once again finds herself as the underdog in a WTA Linz match in tennis betting.
Podoroska is at 6/5 to win the fixture* (odds taken 22:15 GMT Wednesday 11th November).
The Argentine had been the underdog in her first round match against Irina Camelia Begu.
But it was a straight sets victory that Podoroska, who is ranked sixth at WTA Linz collected in that match.
So that was a superb winning start and she is going to be a threat in this one again.
A Podoroska 2-0 set betting option for this second round fixture to follow up on her first round success by that score, is at 27/10* (odds taken 22:15 GMT Wednesday 11th November).
This will be the first meeting between Podoroska and Giorgi.
Camila Giorgi Preview – Italian looks a vulnerable favourite
Italy’s Camila Girogi, ranked at 75th in the world currently, is the favourite for this contest.
She is at a 4/5 odds-on quote for tennis betting* (odds taken 22:15 GMT Wednesday 11th November).
In the first round of WTA Linz, Giorgi was up against Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo.
It was a tough three-set match as well for the Italian who collected the 2-1 success after having been pegged level.
That was the first match for Giorgi since the opening round of this year’s French Open. Girogi had retired from that opening fixture.
There has not been a tremendous amount of form around from Giorgi this year.
She did have a bright patch as the season picked back up again in August, as she reached the semi finals of a lower-tiered event in Italy on clay.
But ahead of WTA Linz Giorgi was on a run of W2 L4 in matches.

So that is why we think for tennis betting that she is worth taking on in this match against Podoroska.
Especially after she was involved in a close match in the opening round of this event against a lower-quality opponent than the Argentine she meets in the round of sixteen.
We are leaning towards Giorgi falling without getting a set on the board.
A Giorgi Not To Win A Set is at 23/10 and worth consideration* (odds taken 22:15 GMT Wednesday 11th November).
