Everton Preview – Can Everton get back on track?
Despite failing to win either of their last two matches in the English top flight, Sunday’s visitors, Everton, still remain top of the Premier League although it’s now only by goal difference prior to this upcoming clash in the north-east against Newcastle United.
Everton had begun their new season in style by racking up four league wins on the trot with Carlo Ancelotti’s side recording wins against Tottenham, West Brom, Crystal Palace and Brighton and also scoring a total of 12 goals in the process.
Having lost just once in their opening six matches of this season, Everton therefore look the more likely to pick up the three points on Sunday, especially given their impressive previous record against their hosts.
