Norwich City Prediction – Can Norwich claim important win?
Norwich have been praised for their attacking brand of football in these early stages of this new Premier League season and although they’ve recorded wins over Newcastle United 3-1 and a stunning 3-2 win against the title holders, Manchester City, their woefully loose defending has also been severely punished.
With just 2 wins out of their first 7 matches, Norwich City now occupy fourth from bottom spot in the top flight and are just 1 point above early relegation candidates, Aston Villa, ahead of this early relegation battle in the Premier League.
But one thing you can’t say about Norwich City matches is that The Canaries are boring; quite the opposite in fact as 4 of their first 7 league matches have resulted over 2.5 goals, but having lost to Liverpool, Chelsea, West Ham, Burnley and Crystal Palace already this season, manager, Daniel Farke, will be desperate to shore up his defence somehow.
However, I’m not sure Norwich have the necessary personnel to keep things tight at the back and nick 1-0 wins, so it’s best to embrace their goalscoring and conceding abilities along with the goal scoring talents of striker Pukki (6 goals).
Aston Villa Prediction – Can Aston Villa jump out of bottom three?
Having had to endure a 4-match sequence without a win in the Premier League, Dean Smith’s Aston Villa side will be desperate to grab all three points away at Norwich City at Carrow Road this Saturday in a match which they’ll fancy their chances of getting a result.
It’s been a tough and unforgiving return to the top flight for Aston Villa as they find themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League as they’ve collected just 1 win out of their first 7 matches of the new campaign, which was a 2-0 home win against Everton.
This was certainly a welcome win for the west midlands club as their new campaign started off in disastrous fashion as they suffered back-to-back defeats to Tottenham and Bournemouth, but the victory over Everton was only temporary relief for The Villains as they’ve since failed to win their subsequent 4 matches.
