Norwich City take on Rotherham United as the betting tips continue in the Championship with the hosts keen to maintain their position at the top of the division with a win today.
Norwich were held to a 0-0 stalemate away from home at Hull City during the week but they now return to Carrow road this Saturday where they’ll be looking to get back to winning ways against a struggling Rotherham United outfit.
The draw at Hull ended Norwich’s impressive six-match winning streak which saw them fly to the top of the table, but nevertheless, Daniel Farke’s side extended their unbeaten run to seven matches prior to this weekend’s action.
Norwich hold a pretty good record at Carrow Road of 6-0-3 14/12 which includes winning five of their last six with victories over Middlesbrough, Wigan Athletic, Aston Villa, Brentford and Millwall. Forwards Pukki (10 goals) and Rhodes (5 goals) are the danger men up front for The Canaries.
Rotherham United find themselves in familiar territory once again in their return to the Championship as they occupy a bottom half position in the second tier, but at least manager Paul Warne has made his side a tougher prospect to beat in this campaign.
The Millers are unbeaten in their last seven matches, a run that includes no fewer than six draws along with just one win which was a 2-1 home win over Swansea City. Nevertheless, this decent (and stubborn) run has helped them avoid the bottom three so far this term and they occupy 19th place and have a three point cushion ahead of the relegation zone.
However, a trip to Norwich City could signal the end of this encouraging run as their away record of 0-3-6 4/16 obviously includes no wins to date but also includes failing to score in 5 of their 9 away matches to date.
