Norwich City Preview – Canaries to fly back to form with three points?
Norwich City have been the league’s consistent team so far, but Daniel Farke’s men will want to return to winning ways after a defeat and a draw from their last two. After a 1-0 loss to Watford at Vicarage Road, City were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday.
Prior to those recent results, Norwich had won five Championship games in a row, seeing off Sheffield Wednesday, Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers, Reading and Cardiff City. Norwich are top of the table with 22 matches played, winning 13, drawing five and losing four.
After dropping points against QPR last time out, Farke’s troops will be hoping to get back to winning ways at Carrow Road on Saturday. The home team are the bookies’ favourites at 5/6.
Barnsley Preview – Can the Tykes cause an upset in Norfolk?
Barnsley made a poor start to their season, failing to win any of their opening seven in the Championship (three draws, four defeats). However, since Frenchman Valerien Ismael took over in late October, the Tykes have won a staggering ten of 15 matches.
Ismael hit the ground running at Oakwell, guiding Barnsley to four wins from his opening five. They had a little slump in form after that, but the Yorkshire side head to Carrow Road having won five of their last six. Last Tuesday, Barnsley beat Rotherham United 2-1 at the New York Stadium to fire themselves up to eighth in the table.

Barnsley fancy their chances of winning anywhere in the Championship at the moment, but this weekend’s clash against the league leaders will no doubt be a tough task. The bookies have the away win priced at 3/1.
