Everton claimed a solid point in their recent merseyside derby against Liverpool with a 0-0 draw at Goodison Park which has only slowed down Liverpool’s inevitable march towards their first ever Premier League title, but at least it wasn’t at The Toffees’ expense.
It’s four matches without a win for Carlo Ancelotti’s side as they’ve suffered defeats away at Arsenal 3-2 and a heavy 4-0 loss at Chelsea, but points picked up in draws with Manchester United and Liverpool have at least seen the visitors keep the lower reaches of the Premier League at arms length.
Everton’s recent fixture schedule has therefore been pretty tough but The Toffees may well be licking their lips of the prospect of going to an empty and very quiet Carrow Road on Wednesday evening to take on the basement dwellers where they’ll fancy taking all three points here.
