Forest supporters will hope to look back on Saturday’s win at home to Leeds as the day in which their automatic promotion challenge really got going. The win over Leeds means it’s now six wins in their last nine league games and only one loss during that time. Forest have also beaten Brentford (currently third) during this time and with the Bees hosting Leeds tomorrow night it’s a big chance for them to climb at least one position in the table.

As I noted in the preview of their weekend game it was always likely Charlton would find themselves in this sort of situation but it’s one which they have a chance of improving on with some big fixtures ahead in the coming weeks.
