Just a draw would be enough for this struggling Nottingham Forest outfit to limp over the line for a play-off place which had previously looked guaranteed when the hosts entertain Wednesday’s visitors, Stoke City, at the City Ground.

Lamouchi will therefore be demanding a win here as Forest not only need to confirm their play-off spot but will also need momentum heading into the play-offs too.
Stoke City Preview – Can Stoke spoil Forest party?
An impressive 12-match sequence which includes just three defeats in the Championship means that Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City side head into this final match of the season with no relegation worries at all, and will be keen to put a spanner in the works at the City Ground on Wednesday night.
Defeats to Middlesbrough, Wigan Athletic and a 5-0 thrashing at Leeds United were still not enough to deny this Stoke side who have found renewed resilience under O’Neill as The Potters have registered five wins during this period which has ultimately preserved their Championship status.
This is in stark contrast to earlier in the season as Stoke sat bottom of the Championship with just two points to their name following a 1-0 defeat at home to Huddersfield Town which was the beginning of the end to former manager, Nathan Jones’s tenure at the bet365 Stadium.
