Malaga lost last time out in La Liga 2 when they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home to league leaders, Osasuna, so the visitors will be keen to return to winning ways against an inconsistent outfit such as Numancia on Monday night.
That loss to Osasuna was Malaga’s only defeat out of their last nine matches overall in the Spanish second tier as the visitors have beaten the likes of Real Zaragoza, Lugo and Rayo Majadahonda as well as picking up points in draws with Tenerife, Almeria, Las Palmas, Deportivo la Coruna and Cordoba.
