It’s ended any chances they have of competing for promotion, albeit they were only slim to begin with. There is virtually no chance they will be dragged into the situation at the bottom, however.
That leaves them to play out the season with little motivation other than trying to finish as high as possible. And also bring an end to this run.

Like their opponents on Saturday, it’s a case of too many draws for Greuther. They have shared the points in five of their last seven matches. Both of their defeats have come at home, though, with their last loss on the road coming back on the 21st of December. All of their last four away games in the league have ended in 1-1 draws.
