Palestine Prediction

Palestine sit joint bottom of the group level on 1 point with Syria as they both opened their account with a point apiece in a dull 0-0 draw, but they were then handed a heavy 3-0 defeat by second placed Australia in their second match of the group.

Palestine now face a difficult task of getting something out of this upcoming fixture with the group leaders Jordan, especially when you take into consideration, Palestine’s recent results on the international stage.

Palestine have managed just one win from their last seven matches overall which was a 2-1 home win over Pakistan but they’ve since suffered defeats to Iraq, Krygyzstan and Australia along with draws against China, Iran and Syria.

In addition, Palestine have failed to score in 3 of these last 7 matches which doesn’t bode well for this upcoming clash.

Key-Facts – Palestine v Jordan

  • Palestine have managed just one win from their last seven matches
  • Palestine have failed to score in 3 of their last 7 matches
  • Jordan have recorded back-to-back wins so far in the Asian Cup

Jordan Prediction

Having claimed back-to-back wins early on in this tournament, Jordan sit top of Group B with the maximum haul of six points to their name ahead of their third group match against Palestine on Tuesday evening.

Jordan opened their account in impressive fashion as they took all three points with a 1-0 win over highly fancied Australia which has been one of the major surprises so far in this Asian Cup.

They then followed that impressive victory up with a 2-0 win over Syria to place them in pole position at the top of Group B, knowing that just a draw and a point in this encounter with Syria is likely to be enough for Jordan to progress.

Prior to the start of the Asian Cup though, Jordan had captured just one win from their previous nine matches, so this is a significant improvement under Belgian coach Vital Borkelmans.

Betting Tips Verdict

With just a point expected to seal their progress to the next stage, I’ll back Jordan with the draw no bet option here.
