Paris Saint-Germain have been far from at their best in the Champions League this season. However, after opening up with a disappointing 1-1 draw with Club Brugge, they did manage to beat Man City and RB Leipzig to put themselves in pole position to progress.
Paris head into this one having taken just one point from their last two Champions League matches. They were held to a 2-2 draw by Leipzig in Germany before falling to a narrow loss to Man City at the Etihad Stadium last time out. Club Brugge are certainly the weak link in an extremely tough group, but Philippe Clement’s men have held their own. The Belgian champions can still transfer to the Europa League if results go their way on matchday six.
Brugge did superbly well to hold PSG to a 1-1 draw at the Jan Breydel Stadium in their opener back in September. They then stunned Leipzig with a memorable 2-1 victory at the RB Arena in their next match. However, the Blue-Black have lost three in a row since, conceding 14 goals in the process.
