the other match being played in the Portuguese top flight on Monday night sees league leaders Porto taking on mid-table outfit Nacional as the betting tips continue at the Estádio Do Dragão.

Primeira Liga Betting at Coral

Porto Prediction

Porto hold a commanding five-point lead at the top of the Primeira Liga ahead of second placed Sporting CP, and the hosts will no doubt be keen to further extend this lead to eight points with a win over Nacional on Monday night.

Having won their last eight league matches on the trot this looks highly likely that Porto will chalk up another win here, while also chalking up a seventh home win on the bounce as well. The host’s home record stands at an impressive 7-0-1 20/5 with their one blemish being a 3-2 loss to Vitoria Guimaraes, but they’ve since registered six wins on the trot.

The goals have also featured on a regular basis on home turf too with only Sporting CP scoring more goals at home than them in the division to date, but with forwards Marega (7 goals), Brahimi and Tiquinho (4 goals apiece), the hosts could well overhaul Sporting on the goalscoring stakes too.

Nacional Prediction

Nacional sit in a mid-table position in the Primeira Liga which is a fair reflection of their season so far which, so far, has been hampered by an inconsistent streak which has held them back from making a serious challenge for a European spot later in the season.

However, the visitors head over Porto having suffered just one defeat from their last seven matches overall in the Primeira Liga which was a heavy 5-2 defeat away at Sporting CP, but they’ve bounced back in style by recording recent wins against Chaves and Vitoria Guimaraes.

Nacional hold an away record of 2-3-2 13/16 which in itself doesn’t appear to be too remarkable, but along with Benfica, they’ve scored the most away goals in the division to date this season. The visitors have also conceded on a regular basis too though with only third from bottom team Desportivo Aves conceding more than them on the road so far this term.

The visitors have failed to score just once in their 7 away matches so far and with forward pair Rochez (7 goals) and Camacho (5 goals) up front, they could well spring a surprise on Porto here.

Betting Tips Verdict

Porto are in excellent form though at the moment and whilst I can see Nacional scoring here, the hosts should take all three points in this clash.
