High-flying Portsmouth sit top of League One where they hold a single point margin over second placed Luton Town, but the hosts will turn their attentions to the 4th round of the FA Cup where they entertain QPR with a chance of making it through to the 5th round a very real possibility.

QPR make their way from the nation’s capital down to the south coast having suffered recent back-to-back defeats to Sheffield United and Preston North End in the Championship, and the visitors now sit in a disappointing 14th place in the second tier after promising so much just a couple of months ago.
October saw QPR suffer just one defeat from their nine matches played in the Championship, but their inconsistent streak has let them down and has virtually dashed any lingering hopes they may have had of claiming a play-off spot as they now trail 6th placed Derby County by seven points.
A good run in the FA Cup is therefore a realistic way of bringing the goods times back to Loftus Road along with the trappings of prize money if The R’s can go deep in this competition.
