Qualification for next year’s European Championships is still in Portugal’s hands despite being handed a disappointing 2-1 defeat away from home at Ukraine last time out in Group B, as the hosts look to bounce back with a win over poor Lithuania on Thursday night.

Thursday night’s visitors, Lithuania, sit rock bottom of Group B with just 1 point to their name which was thanks to a 1-1 draw at home with Luxembourg, but otherwise it’s been a barren and fruitless Euro 2020 campaign for Lithuania who have lost their last 5 matches on the trot in Group B.
Following an encouraging point in their opening match against Luxembourg, Lithuania have simply folded and slumped to 5 subsequent defeats to Serbia 4-1, Ukraine 3-0, Portugal (5-1 at home), Ukraine 2-0 and Serbia 2-1, leaving them bottom of the pile.
