FA Cup Betting at Comeon

QPR Prediction

QPR’s season has turned around in dramatic style after Steve McClaren took over the reigns at Loftus Road, and the London club now sit in 9th place and just four points behind the play-off pack in the Championship.

QPR bring a solid five-match unbeaten run into this cup-tie with Leeds having secured recent wins against Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town along with picking up points in draws with Reading and Aston Villa.

The R’s have also become a tough unit to break down at Loftus Road as their recent sequence of home results show – they’ve lost just once in their last eight on home turf, and they’ve won 8 of their last 12 matches.

Forwards Wells (6 goals), Freeman (5 goals) and Hemed (3 goals) along with midfielders Eze and Wszolek (4 goals apiece) should give the hosts a decent chance here.

Leeds United Prediction

Leeds United sit top of the Championship two points ahead of second placed Norwich City as Marcelo Bielsa’s side turn their attentions to the FA Cup. Leeds and Bielsa’s top priority is of course automatic promotion to the Premier League and a return to the glory days of the Yorkshire club, but I’m not sure if they know how to hold back!
Having suffered recent back-to-back defeats in the Championship to Hull City and Nottingham Forest, which also saw the visitors ship 6 goals in these last two fixtures, Leeds will no doubt be keen to return to winning ways here in order to prevent two defeats from turning into something more sinister.

Leeds have scored in each of their 13 away matches so far this season, and with the likes of midfielders Hernandez (7 goals) and Klich (5 goals) along with forwards Roofe (13 goals) and Alioski (4 goals), the visitors also look a solid bet to hit the back of the net in this clash.

Betting Tips Verdict

Both teams have been in good form this season and both carry serious goal threats so I’ll back both teams to score in this cup-tie.
