Premier League Betting at Marathonbet

QPR Prediction

QPR continued their impressive recent run of results on Boxing Day when they registered a comfortable 3-0 home win over struggling Ipswich Town which moved the hosts up into 8th place on the Championship ladder.

The win over Ipswich became QPR’s third league win on the trot having previously recorded a 2-1 home win over Middlesbrough and a valuable 1-0 win away at Nottingham Forest – the latter being their first ever win at the City Ground in their footballing history.

Home form at their Loftus Road ground has also improved dramatically as they’ve won five of their last six with additional wins over Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa and Brentford amidst an overall record of 7-1-4 19/13.

Midfielder Wszolek (4 goals) along with forwards Wells (6 goals) and Freeman (4 goals) provide the best chances of scoring here for The R’s.

Reading Phoenix Prediction

While QPR’s star is on the rise, Reading’s is positively plummeting as The Royals slumped to a third defeat in four matches when they suffered a 1-0 defeat away at Millwall on Boxing Day which followed recent losses to Leeds United, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough.

Indeed, Reading have now gone eight league matches without a win and have recently installed Portuguese manager Jose Gomes in a desperate attempt to halt their disappointing sequence of results. This may take a few more games for his methods to take effect, but in the meantime Reading occupy a bottom three position and are three points adrift of safety.

In addition, Reading have captured just one win on their travels so far this season within a disappointing record of 1-5-6 11/19 which was a 3-2 win at Preston North End back in September, but since then, the visitors have gone eight matches without success on the road.

Betting Tips Verdict

QPR’s momentum should see them grab the spoils over a Reading outfit who are bereft of confidence.
