QPR Prediction – Can QPR bounce back at Loftus Road?

Wednesday night’s hosts, QPR, suffered their first setback of this new season under new manager, Mark Warburton, on the weekend when they lost 2-0 away at Bristol City, but they’ll be reasonably confident that they can take something from this encounter at home against visitors, Swansea City on Wednesday night.

QPR’s new campaign got off to a winning start with a 2-1 win away at hapless Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium, and The R’s followed this encouraging start with a point in a 1-1 draw at home with Huddersfield Town.

Another home fixture at their Loftus Road ground resulted in a highly entertaining League Cup clash against Bristol City which ended at 3-3 after normal time, but QPR edged out The Robins on penalties to put their name into the hat for the next round.

Bristol City got their revenge straight afterwards with the aforementioned 2-0 win at Ashton Gate but QPR will fancy their chances at home here. However, just 4 wins from their last 15 matches at home means that the goal markets look appealing; indeed 9 of QPR’s last 15 home matches have seen both teams score.

Swansea City Prediction – Can Swansea continue upward trajectory?

Despite losing former manager, Graham Potter and last season’s leading goalscorer and striker, Oliver McBurnie, Swansea City seem to have taken these departures in their stride as The Swans currently occupy 5th spot in the early Championship league standings.

The visitors have certainly made a flying start to this new season as Swansea have collected 2 wins and 1 draw from their opening 3 league matches of the season as well as progressing in the League Cup at the expense of League Two outfit, Northampton Town, with a 3-1 win at the Liberty Stadium.

On the Championship front, Swansea started in bright fashion with a 2-1 home win against Hull City and then took a point off last season’s Championship play-off finalists, Derby County, in a 0-0 draw away from home at Pride Park.

Saturday saw Swansea City return to their Liberty Stadium where they won an entertaining encounter against Preston North End in a 5-goal thriller which The Swans eventually won 3-2 to grab another important 3 points.

Interestingly, 9 of Swansea City’s last 15 away matches have also seen both teams score.

Key-Facts – QPR v Swansea City
