Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers welcome Carlos Corberan’s Huddersfield Town to the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium this Saturday. The R’s are in fine fettle, winning eight of their last 12 in the EFL Championship. As for the Terriers, only bottom club Wycombe Wanderers have picked up fewer away points. As expected, QPR are the clear favourites in this one.

Queens Park Rangers Preview – Another three points for Warburton’s men?
Mark Warburton’s Queens Park Rangers had a disappointing first half to their season, looking dangerously over their shoulder at the bottom three. However, after a hatful of wins since the turn of the year, QPR have fired themselves into the top half of the table.
Rangers have really turned their fortunes around in recent months. They began 2021 with six wins from seven Championship matches before drawing one and losing two of three. QPR have got back on track since, though, securing back-to-back wins over Bristol City and Wycombe.
The play-offs may be out of reach, as they are 12 points behind sixth-place Barnsley, but the Londoners will want a strong finish to their season. They have the momentum and three points on Saturday could put them as high as tenth.
Huddersfield Town Preview – Terriers to crash to an 18th league loss?
Carlos Corberan has had an indifferent year at the John Smith’s Stadium. On their day, Town are capable of giving anyone a game, but only Rotherham United, Sheffield Wednesday and Wycombe – the current bottom three – have suffered more defeats up until now.
Huddersfield are in 19th position at the time of writing, only six points away from the bottom three. 22nd-place Rotherham have games in hand on their relegation rivals, so Town could do with some points sooner rather than later.

As we touched on, the Terriers have been woeful on the road this season. So far, the Yorkshire side have taken a mere ten points on their travels, winning two of 17. Can Huddersfield avoid defeat in London at the weekend?
Queens Park Rangers vs Huddersfield Town Betting Advice
In the reverse fixture at the John Smith’s Stadium back in early December, Huddersfield picked up a 2-0 home win over QPR. First-half efforts from Josh Koroma and Harry Toffolo did the business on that occasion. Town have a good recent record over Rangers, unbeaten in six (four wins, two draws).
Key Facts – Queens Park Rangers vs Huddersfield Town Betting Tip
- QPR have won eight of their last 12 in the Championship
- Huddersfield have picked up just ten away points this season
- Town are unbeaten in six against the R’s, winning four and drawing two
Huddersfield have not won away from home since a 3-0 victory over Millwall at The Den way back on 31st October. Since then, Corberan’s troops have drawn three and lost nine of 12 away league games.
QPR have a poor recent record against the Yorkshire club, but Warburton’s troops are bang in form at present. We fancy the R’s to seal all three points at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium this weekend – the home win is priced at evens.
Since returning on loan, Charlie Austin has had a big impact at QPR. The 31-year-old has helped himself to five Championship goals already. Take a punt on Austin to open the scoring at 9/2.
