Alex Neil’s Preston North End have had a strange batch of results so far. Away from home, they have drawn with Norwich City and beaten Brentford. In the game at the Brentford Community Stadium before the international break, North End were two goals down at half time before going on to win 4-2 in the capital.
They have been dreadful at home, though, losing all three of their Championship games at Deepdale. In fact, since thumping Mansfield Town in the first round of Carabao Cup, Neil’s boys have lost successive league and cup home matches against Swansea City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Stoke City and Cardiff City.
