Despite their recent improvement, Lugo are still in the relegation zone. Nevertheless, they are now only a point adrift of safety with 11 matches left to play.

Lugo have found it tough going away from home this season, picking up just two league wins on their travels. However, they have taken four points from their last two away games, keeping clean sheets in both. A draw would be satisfactory, but three points in Cantabria at the weekend could be huge in their quest for survival.
