Rangers are also in the mix to progress onto the knockout stages of the Europa League as Steven Gerrard’s side continue to fight on two fronts, while domestically, they possess an excellent home record of 6-1-0 25/4 which includes scoring the most home goals by some margin to date.
Aberdeen’s form and league position in the Scottish top flight has slumped in recent times despite a recent three-game winning sequence against Hamilton Academicals, Kilmarnock and Hibernian, but recent losses to Celtic, Hearts and Motherwell have seen them lose ground to the top teams.
The Dons now sit one point outside of the Championship Round places ahead of this difficult trip to Rangers and their task looks even tougher when you consider their recent results away from home in the Scottish top flight.
With just one away win from their last six on their travels which was a 2-1 win at Kilmarnock, Aberdeen look to have their work cut out if they’re to improve upon an ordinary looking away record of 2-2-3 6/9.
Rangers will therefore be keen to push on here and the betting tips advise a home win to extend their unbeaten run to eight matches.
