Leipzig have hit reasonable form in recent times as the hosts have captured three wins from their last four matches overall in the Bundesliga with wins over Fortuna Dusseldorf, Hannover 96 and Stuttgart with all three victories being chalked up away from home.
Leipzig’s one home match during this four match sequence ended with a point in a 0-0 draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, but the hosts have lost just once at home all season so far which was a 1-0 loss to league leaders, Borussia Dortmund, but they’ve gained notable wins against 7th placed Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 and a 2-0 victory over 3rd placed Borussia Moenchengladbach so far this term.

Hoffenheim have produced a fairly steady campaign so far this season in the Bundesliga as the visitors occupy 8th place on the top flight ladder thanks to a recent four match run without defeat which includes wins over Freiburg and Hannover 96 along with points picked up with draws against Fortuna Dusseldorf 1-1 at home and a 3-3 draw at Borussia Dortmund.
Hoffenheim have also made themselves a hard team to beat on the road too as the visitors have put together a solid run of eight matches without defeat which has been an impressive turnaround in form as they started the season off with two away defeats on the trot.
Back-to-back losses at Bayern Munich and Fortuna Dusseldorf wasn’t the best of starts on the road, but Hoffenheim have picked up since then and have recorded wins at Hannover 96, Nurnberg, Bayer Leverkusen and Freiburg to maintain their position in the top half of the Bundesliga.

Leipzig have been solid on home turf this season and although Hoffenheim are unbeaten in their last eight on the road, I do wonder if they possess the weaponry to really hurt the hosts here.
