RB Leipzig Preview – Can RB Leipzig regain form?
Until recently, RB Leipzig had been in fine form as the Wednesday night’s hosts had racked up six wins within a seven-game stretch which included an opening group match win over Istanbul Basaksehir on Matchday 1 of the Champions League but they’ve since faltered.
Four of the six wins were also registered in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig once again staking claims for a possible title challenge or at the very least, further involvement in the Champions League for next season but back-to-back defeats to Manchester United and M’gladbach have pegged the hosts back.
United recorded a 5-0 thrashing over RB Leipzig on Matchday 2 of the Champions League while on the weekend, the hosts were handed a 1-0 defeat on the road at M’gladbach in the German domestic top flight and further problems could await Julian Nagelsmann’s side against PSG despite losing just three of their last 10 ties at home.

All three points away at RB Leipzig would place the French Ligue 1 visitors, PSG, in a strong position in Group H following last week’s 2-0 win away from home in Turkey against Istanbul Basaksehir, and although they were dealt a 2-1 loss at home by Manchester United on Matchday 1, PSG will fancy their chances here.
That defeat to the Red Devils has been PSG’s only loss in their last nine matches overall in all competitions as the visitors have won the other eight games, so they’ll be in confident mood as they prepare for this upcoming clash in Germany.
In addition, PSG have won seven of their last nine away ties in the Champions League including a 3-0 romp over RB Leipzig on their last visit to the Red Bull Arena in last season’s semi-final encounter last August.
