We’re set for a cracker of a match if the form book remains true for Tuesday night’s clash between hosts Reading and visitors Newcastle United at the Madejski Stadium, with a valuable three points up for grabs for both sides as they pursue promotion.

But Newcastle United hold far and away the best away record in the Championship with impressive stats of 13-2-3 32/12 and they come into this encounter in Berkshire on the back of a ten-game stretch without defeat.
The visitors have also won four of their last five matches on their travels with wins at Brentford and Wolves along with impressive victories over promotion rivals Brighton and Huddersfield Town, and they now look almost certain for promotion back up to the Premier League as they hold an 11-point lead over third placed Huddersfield.
