Real Madrid have a golden opportunity to lift themselves up into 3rd place in La Liga when they take on Real Sociedad as the betting tips continue at the Bernabeu on Sunday evening.

La Liga Betting at Bet Victor

Real Madrid Prediction

Real Madrid have a chance to take full advantage of there being just two matches played this evening in the Spanish top flight and although they sit in a very disappointing 5th place in La Liga, they could move up into 3rd spot with a win tonight.

The hosts are in reasonable form right now as they’ve won three of their last four with wins against Valencia, Huesca and Rayo Vallecano along with a point against Villarreal last time out. Real Madrid will be desperate to return to winning ways on home turf here though.

Real Madrid possess a strong looking home record of 6-1-1 13/3 despite their well publicised problems which included the recent sacking of former Spanish national coach Julen Lopetegui, but they seem to be once again heading in the right direction.

Forward Benzema (7 goals) is once again expected to lead the line for the hosts, but Gareth Bale is expected to miss out through injury.

Real Sociedad Prediction

Real Sociedad find themselves in the bottom half of the Spanish top flight following a poor sequence of results which has seen the visitors slump to four league defeats on the trot in recent weeks.

Defeats to Real Betis, Real Valladolid, Getafe and Deportivo Alaves has meant that the visitors sit in 15th place with 19 points to their name with just three points separating them from the relegation zone ahead of this tough trip to Madrid.

To make matters worse, the visitors sacked former coach Asier Garitano over the Christmas period and new boss Imanol Alguacil has a tough baptism of fire on the road at Real Madrid with his side having lost three of their last four away from home.

An away record of 4-1-4 12/11 looks far too loose to cause Real Madrid problems here, as well as just one clean sheet on their travels to date, along with failing to score in three of their last four on the road.

Betting Tips Verdict

This should be a straightforward win for Real Madrid who I’m also tipping to cover the asian line here.
