If they do so, Denmark will automatically qualify for next year’s European Championships as they sit top of Group D with a 1-point lead over 2nd placed Switzerland, but an even more important 3-point cushion over their Monday evening’s hosts, Republic of Ireland prior to this final round of matches in the group.
