AS Roma Preview – Turbulent week really needs a positive conclusion?
The Romans finished 2019/20 with a power surge, winning seven whilst losing none of their final eight Serie A matches to close out a disrupted league campaign in a Europa League berth. Towards the end of last season, it was clear The Old Lady eased off once a ninth straight league title was all but confirmed. However, not every result could be dismissed as them being on the beach. Not least the 4-2 reverse at the San Siro to AC Milan eight games from the end. The first of four away fixtures Juve would come up short in, subsequently failing to win in Sassuolo (3-3), Udinese (2-1) and Cagliari (2-0).
