Frosinone precariously sit second from bottom in Serie A and are five points adrift of Empoli and safety as they prepare for their tough trip to Sampdoria to face an in-form home side in the shape of Sampdoria.
The visitors’ plight has been made worse by the fact that they’ve recorded just one win from their last 12 matches overall in the Italian top flight which was a resounding 4-0 win away at relegation rivals Bologna at the end of last month, but they’ve collected just two wins all season to date.
Both of these rare victories came away from home in the shape of a 3-0 win at SPAL along wth the aforementioned win at Bologna, but an away record of 2-2-7 10/21 still requires further attention, even if it has been their best chance of survival, having failed to win a single match at their Stadio Benito Stirpe this term.
