Just when many expected this team to start faltering, they go and deliver an emphatic response to those detractors adamant results would deteriorate on the back of losing a certain Serbian to a certain club from Turin. Last week’s slender 1-0 victory at home to a direct rival for European qualification, Atalanta, brought up a second straight win for Vincenzo Italiano and his players. Displaying strength in unity.
Fiorentina are now looking to win three Serie A games on the bounce for a third time this season, after previously going through a sticky period which seen them register one win in six (D3 L2). Their record away to Sassuolo, though, isn’t the best. Winning only once at Mapei Stadium in the last six seasons (D3 L2).
