Onto the German Bundesliga, and a look at the resurgence of Schalke who currently sit third in the German top flight, and will take on rock bottom club, Cologne at their VELTINS-Arena in the Saturday evening clash.

Visitors Cologne sit bottom of the German Bundesliga with only two points to their name, thanks to draws against Hannover and Werder Bremen, but it’s been a wretched campaign for Cologne who already seem resigned to relegation down to 2 Bundesliga even at this early stage of the season.
The away side come into this clash on the back of four defeats on the trot with losses to Bayer Leverkusen, Hoffenheim, Mainz and Hertha Berlin, while their form on their travels has been poor for some time now in the Bundesliga.
Cologne are without an away win from their last 14 matches on the road, and their record on the road this season stands at a poor 0-1-6 2/14, which includes failing to score on five occasions from their seven away matches to date.
