Friday night also brings us the final of the Africa Cup of Nations and after almost a month of football, it comes down to this final 90 minutes between Senegal and Algeria as the betting tips continue at the Cairo International Stadium.
Senegal Prediction – Can Senegal lift the trophy?
After 4 wins on the trot, Senegal will go in search of cup final glory against Algeria and look to record a fifth win on the bounce in this competition.
The group stages saw Senegal finish runners-up to Group C winners and their cup final opponents, Algeria, by a 3-point margin.
A positive start was made to the group stages with a 2-0 win against bottom nation, Tanzania, but defeat to Algeria followed afterwards.

The latter victory was achieved in extra-time, and it looks like they’ll be in store for another tightly fought encounter against Algeria in this final.
Algeria Prediction – Can Algeria register second win against Senegal?
Algeria bring an impressive 6-match winning streak into this Africa Cup of Nations final against Senegal as they seek a seventh win on Friday night.
A seventh win for Algeria would indeed send them into seventh heaven and would see them lift the cup but first they must deal with Senegal again.
They’ve already registered an important 1-0 win over their cup final opponents during the Group C matches, but this final promises to be another tight affair.
Three wins on the trot during the group stages saw Algeria record wins against Kenya 2-0, Senegal 1-0 and Tanzania 3-0.
This therefore means that Algeria kept clean sheets in all three of their matches in Group C, and this trend continued in the round of 16.
A 3-0 win over Guinea saw Algeria safely through to the quarter-finals but they need a penalty shoot-out win over Ivory Coast to make it to the semi’s.
The scores were still level at 1-1 after extra-time but Algeria squeezed through in the end to line up in the last four where they secured a 2-1 win over Nigeria to progress to this final.

Betting Tips Verdict
Despite what the media tells us, this final represents more than just Liverpool’s Mane against Manchester City’s Mahrez, and a tightly fought encounter looks to be on the cards here. This final may well need extra time and maybe penalties to decide the winner. A draw at full-time isn’t out of the question here.
