Sevilla Preview – Can Sevilla close the gap?
Although 2nd placed Sevilla trail La Liga leaders, Real Madrid, by a significant eight-point margin, the hosts stand a decent chance of extending their unbeaten run in the Spanish top flight to six matches overall when they entertain Getafe on Sunday afternoon.
Sevilla have claimed four wins in their last five matches with victories over Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid and Cadiz which has placed them in 2nd spot and they hold a nine-point cushion over 5th placed Atletico Madrid with Champions League qualification looking a real possibility now.
