It’s the 2nd legs of the semi-finals of the Belarusian Cup on Wednesday night and we take a look ahead to the clash between Shakhtyor Soligorsk and Dinamo Brest as the betting tips continue at the Stadyen Budaŭnik.

Shakhtyor Preview – Can Shakhtyor overcome deficit?
Shakhtyor Soligorsk were handed a 2-0 defeat away from home in the 1st leg tie against Dinamo Brest but the hosts will be hoping that they can overturn this deficit to progress through to the final of this season’s Belarus Cup.
Shakhtyor entered the cup at the last 32 stage where they registered a 2-0 win on the road at Smolevichi and they secured another away win with a last 16 round 2-1 win on their travels at 1. Division outfit, Lokomotiv Gomel.
A two-legged quarter-final affair against Torpedo Zhodino resulted in Shakhtyor progressing with a 3-0 win on aggregate, winning 1-0 away and securing their place in the semi-finals with a solid 2-0 win in the 2nd leg at home.
Shakhtyor have performed pretty well in the domestic cup as the hosts have won 10 of their last 12 cup-ties overall, but they’ll be attempting to chase down a 2-0 deficit here so they’ll need to be on the front foot from the start of the tie.
Dinamo Brest Preview – Can Dinamo Brest nail down tie?
Under normal circumstances, the answer would usually be a resounding ‘yes’ but results haven’t gone Dinamo Brest’s way so far in this season’s Belarus top flight campaign overall, despite being in the driving seat in this Belarusian Cup semi-final with a 2-0 lead.
Last season’s Vysshaya Liga title winners have found themselves in early trouble at the start of this new campaign as the visitors sit in a disappointing third from bottom position in the domestic top flight table, and they head into this 2nd leg having lost 3 of their last 5 matches in all competitions.
However, Dinamo Brest have done enough in the cup competition so far having secured wins over Rukh Brest, FC Minsk and winning on penalties against Isloch Minsk, to ensure their place in the last four of the Belarusian Cup.
Given results so far this season though, Dinamo Brest look far from a guaranteed clean sheet here.
