In-between times, Slutsk gained a point in a 1-1 draw at home with this season’s surprise package, Vitebsk, who are currently sitting in 2nd spot, but Slutsk have a golden opportunity to grab another three points in this upcoming clash against early strugglers, Belshina, who sit bottom of the Vysshaya Liga.

Following a disastrous start to this new Vysshaya Liga campaign which has resulted in 3 straight defeats for Belshina, the visitors have since tightened up their act by picking up points in draws with Neman Grodno and Smolevichi respectively.
Early losses to FC Minsk, Torpedo Zhodino and Gorodeya had seen the visitors get their season off to the worst possible start but although they’ve avoided defeat in their last two matches, these draws have been against opposition that currently occupy places in the bottom three of the Vysshaya Liga.
