Southampton will head into this Saturday’s home clash with Chelsea on the back of a four-match sequence without a win in the Premier League, losing three of these four games having suffered defeats at the hands of Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Watford while a point in a 1-1 draw at Leeds United barely made a dent in the points lost of late.
