Spezia Preview – Can Spezia make improvements?
A six-point buffer at the end of last season saved Spezia from serious relegation dramas at the end of last season’s Serie A campaign but despite finishing fifth from bottom, the hosts showed serious signs of further potential trouble ahead this term as they had lost five of their final six games of last season.
Their one highlight in the run-in was a 3-2 win away at Udinese but losses against Inter Milan, Torino, Lazio, Atalanta and Napoli suggest this season could be another tough battle for the hosts along with losing their last four home games on the trot.
