Michael O’Neill’s Stoke City have started their Championship campaign with a win and two defeats. They were also beaten in the first round of the Carabao Cup by EFL League One side Morecambe.
On the opening weekend, Stoke were comfortably beaten by Millwall. They bounced back with a home success over Blackpool in game two, but City have gone on to lose two league and cup matches in a row. After a cup loss to Morecambe, the Potters were beaten 3-1 by Huddersfield Town at the John Smith’s Stadium last weekend.
