This tie is all but over following Suduva’s 5-0 win in San Marino last week. Tre Penne will be looking to restore some pride following that defeat but it could be another long 90 minutes for the minnows.

Suduva Preview – Can Suduva improve on first leg score to assert authority further?
Having won their second successive league title, Suduva entered qualification for this year’s Champions League. As an unseeded team they were always likely to face a big challenge to progress, and that’s the way it proved. Drawn against Crvena Zvezda, Suduva put up a good fight and were somewhat unfortunate to be eliminated. A 2-1 defeat on aggregate, however, ensured they dropped into the Europa League. It could barely have been a better draw for them to ease them into this qualification phase. Suduva were in no mood to mess around, either, and asserted their authority from the off – all but putting the tie to bed.
Suduva made it all the way to the playoff stage of Europa League qualifying last season, losing to Celtic. Their aim will be going one better this time and making the group stage.
Tre Penne Preview – Is it going to be another long evening for San Marino outift?
Like their opponents in this tie, Tre Penne also won their domestic league last season. The San Marino champions were eliminated at an even earlier stage of Champions League qualification, though. Due to both their own and their league’s poor coefficient, Tre Penne had to get past a preliminary game to enter the first round but suffered a narrow defeat to FC Santa Coloma from Andorra. That would have been a disappointing result having played the game at home. It did however mean they went straight into the second round of qualifying for this competition. Although they would have been right up against it to get a result, there’s no denying they would also have been disappointed with the manner of that defeat last week.
