John Coleman’s Accrington Stanley have been the surprise package in League One so far. After a mid-table finish last term, Accy have been quick out of the blocks this season, winning four of their opening six. They are currently joint top with Sunderland.
Stanley lost at Wycombe on the opening weekend but bounced back with successive wins over Cambridge United, Doncaster United and Crewe Alexandra. After a 2-0 reverse at MK Dons, Accrington were back to winning ways last weekend, edging past Shrewsbury Town at the Crown Ground.
