Swansea City Preview – Can the Swans return to winning ways on home turf?
For the second season running, Steve Cooper has guided Swansea City to the Championship play-offs. The Welsh side have remained consistent all season, winning half of their 44 Championship games.
Swansea made sure of their play-off berth at Reading last weekend. Despite going a goal down at the Madejski Stadium, City bounced back to get the point that they needed. Swansea can finish as high as third this term.
Swansea are usually strong at the Liberty Stadium, but Cooper’s men are without a win in four at home. Since a 2-1 triumph over Middlesbrough in early March, City have taken one point from a possible 12 at the Liberty.
Derby County Preview – Can County cause an upset in Wales?
Derby County’s woeful form has put them bang in trouble with just a couple of matches to go. The Rams are in 21st spot, four points clear of Rotherham United and Sheffield United – the Millers also have a game in hand.
If Rotherham lose and Derby win this weekend, Rooney’s troops will be a Championship club next season. However, the Rams head to South Wales in retched form, losing five in a row. The win over Luton Town on 2nd March is their only victory since February.
