Accrington Stanley v Yeovil Town Betting Tips: 1, 2018-04-17

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v YEOVIL TOWN Tuesday 17th April 2018 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips League Two leaders, Accrington Stanley, will be looking to return to winning ways with the visit of lowly Yeovil Town to their Wham Stadium on Tuesday night after being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Exeter City on the weekend. Accrington now hold a slender one point lead at the top of League Two ahead of second placed Luton Town who registered an easy 3-1 home win over Crewe Alexandra, and Accrington will no doubt be keen to inflict a similar score line upon Yeovil here tonight. Accrington are in great form on home turf as they’ve won nine of their last ten amidst an overall record of  15-3-3  39/19, and they possess perhaps the deadliest attacking force in the division with the likes of Kee and Jackson up front for the hosts. Onto Yeovil Town and they sit in 18th place following a three match run without a win in the fourth tier with defeats to Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers, as well as a local derby 2-2 draw with Swindon Town. Yeovil are virtually safe though from relegation now as they’re nine points ahead of second from bottom Barnet, with the London club having just three league matches remaining to save themselves from the drop. Yeovil’s away record stands at a disappointing  4-6-10  28/42 but The Glovers have certainly made a significant improvement on their travels in recent times as the west country outfit have suffered just one defeat from their last seven on the road. The visitors have recorded recent away wins at Colchester United and Coventry City, the latter being a 6-2 thrashing of Coventry at the Ricoh Arena, but I fancy Accrington to bounce back with a win here. Accrington Stanley v Exeter City Betting Tips: 1, 2018-04-14

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v EXETER CITY Saturday 14th April 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips With just six league matches remaining, top of League Two Accrington Stanley hold a commanding 11 point lead over fourth placed Exeter City who come to the Wham Stadium this Saturday afternoon in order to disrupt Accrington’s promotion plans. However, Accrington are in red-hot form right now in League Two as the Lancashire outfit have collected seven straight wins on the trot under manager, John Coleman, and they don’t look like letting up anytime soon along with nine straight home wins on the bounce too. Accrington also hold a very impressive home record which stands at  15-2-3  38/18 and along with keeping eight clean sheets to date, they also have a potent attacking force in the shape of Kee (22 goals), Jackson (14 goals), McConville (11 goals) and Clark (7 goals). Exeter are also no slouches as they’ve collected four wins from their last five matches in League Two which includes wins over Port Vale, Swindon Town, Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United, and The Grecians sit in fourth place thanks to this recent upturn in form. However, most of Exeter’s success this season has been recorded at their St James’ Park where they’ve racked up 13 wins to date, but an inconsistent looking away record of  9-3-9  28/31 which includes as many wins as losses, perhaps show Exeter’s potential weakness on their travels. The west country outfit possess a dangerous striker in the form of Stockley (15 goals), but having shipped 31 goals to date, they may well find it difficult to contain an in-form and free-scoring Accrington Stanley here. With just four clean sheets on the road all season, I think Exeter will struggle here. Pick: Accrington Stanley to win @ 1.95 Betfair

Accrington Stanley v Notts County Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2018-04-02

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v NOTTS COUNTY Monday 2nd April 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips Accrington Stanley’s 1-0 win away at Mansfield Town turned a Good Friday into an excellent Friday as Stanley secured a fifth league win on the trot in League Two, and they now sit top of the fourth tier with a three point lead over second placed Luton Town ahead of Easter Monday’s schedule. Accrington are on fire right now, and indeed, John Coleman’s men have now put together an excellent 10-match unbeaten run which includes no fewer than nine wins which have helped propel Stanley to the top of the division. They’ll take on Notts County at their Wham Stadium this afternoon as they look to register a ninth consecutive home win, and with a home record of  14-2-3  37/18 under their belts, as well as prolific strike pair (Kee 21 goals) and Jackson (14 goals) up front, the home side will be oozing with confidence. Notts County sit in fourth place and four points adrift of Wycombe Wanderers who occupy the last automatic promotion spot, but their progress in the promotion hunt has recently been slowed down by draws with Cheltenham Town, Mansfield Town and the aforementioned Wycombe Wanderers. The Magpies have lost just once in their last six, but on the other hand, they’ve registered just two wins from their last six overall, and perhaps the pressure is starting to set in, especially when they’re away from home. County have lost at home just twice all season, but on the road they possess a pretty ordinary looking record of  6-7-7  24/25 and along with seventh placed Lincoln City, they hold the joint worst away record out of all the teams in the top seven of the division. Accrington Stanley v Forest Green Rovers Betting Tips: 1, 2018-03-17

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v FOREST GREEN ROVERS Saturday 17th March 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips Accrington Stanley laid down a marker in League Two last Saturday when they beat former league leaders, Luton Town, at Kenilworth Road, and in turn made a statement to the rest of the league as they now sit top of the fourth tier. The win over Luton was Stanley’s third on the trot following wins over Cambridge United and Morecambe, while the Lancashire outfit have now extended their unbeaten run to eight matches, winning seven of them and four of the victories to nil. Stanley will once again have home advantage at their Wham Stadium this Saturday when they take on struggling Forest Green Rovers, where the hosts will go in search of recording an eighth league win on the trot amidst an overall record of  13-2-3  34/17. Prolific striker, Billy Kee (21 goals) is on fire at the moment, and supported by Jackson (13 goals) and McConville (11 goals). Forest Green Rovers suffered their first defeat in five matches last weekend when they lost 2-1 at home to promotion candidates, Notts County, and the west country outfit will be facing another team that are in strong contention for an automatic promotion spot when they take on Accrington Stanley here. It’s been a tough, hard slog for Forest Green who are playing in the Football League for the very first time in their history this season, but recent wins over Coventry City, Stevenage and Crawley Town have helped alleviate any immediate concerns of relegation as they now have a comfortable seven point cushion above second from bottom Barnet. However, these recent wins were all registered at their New Lawn ground, while results away from home have been pretty poor all season with an away record of  2-5-10  15/31, and they come into this clash without an away win from their last nine outings. Accrington Stanley v Morecambe Betting Tips: 1, 2018-03-06

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v MORECAMBE Tuesday 6th March 2018 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips With Accrington Stanley’s away match at Newport County being postponed on the weekend due to bad weather, they now have a chance to add to their points tally on Tuesday night with a home match against fourth from bottom club, Morecambe. After a solid run of form which has seen Accrington Stanley win nine of their last 11 in League Two, the hosts now sit in second place in the division and four points behind League Two leaders, Luton Town. Accrington hold a three point lead over third placed Wycombe Wanderers, and a four point cushion over fourth placed Notts County, but they’ll be mindful that they need to continue their winning momentum in order to secure automatic promotion. A home record of  12-2-3  33/17 along with six wins on the trot at their Wham Stadium sees them in the box seat ahead of this clash. Morecambe sit fourth from bottom at the other end of the division following just one win from their last seven in the fourth tier, which was a surprise 4-2 win away at third placed Wycombe Wanderers last time out. Morecambe’s game against Colchester United was also called off on the weekend, so they face another away trip to a top three side on Tuesday night, and their confidence may well have risen as The Shrimpers have lost just once in their last five on the road. Prior to their last five away from home, Morecambe had managed just one win from 12 matches on their travels, and an away record of  3-7-7  17/22 still requires a lot more attention, and suggests that a point at Accrington is perhaps their most realistic chance of taking something away here. Accrington Stanley v Cambridge United Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2018-02-24

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v CAMBRIDGE UNITED Saturday 24th February 2018 - Kickoff; 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips Accrington Stanley will be going in search of another three points on Saturday afternoon when they take on mid-table Cambridge United at their Wham Stadium in League Two, to further strengthen their claims for automatic promotion. Accrington have won four of their last five league matches with wins over Stevenage, Swindon Town, Coventry City and Crewe Alexandra, and aside from a temporary blip which saw them suffer a 2-1 defeat away at Crawley Town, Accrington had also racked up four wins prior to that loss. It’s perhaps no surprise then that John Coleman’s men are challenging for promotion up to League One, and with a solid home record of  11-2-3  32/17 under their belts, as well as having won their last five on the trot at home, they look set for further success here. Cambridge United sit in 13th place in League Two but are closer to the play-off pack than the relegation zone in terms of points, as they make their way up to Lancashire for this encounter. But although United are just seven points adrift of the top seven, they’re a whopping 14 points behind Accrington Stanley. One of the main reasons why Cambridge aren’t in the top half of the division is their rather poor looking away record which stands at  3-5-9  13/32 although they have won their last three league matches on the trot with victories over Chesterfield, Grimsby Town and most notable of all, Notts County. It should be noted though, that the latter two results were at their Cambs Glass Stadium, while the win at Chesterfield was against a side who currently sit second from bottom in the division. Accrington Stanley v Crewe Alexandra Betting Tips: 1, 2018-02-13

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v CREWE ALEXANDRA Tuesday 13th February 2018 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips Accrington Stanley’s recent impressive spurt of form has seen the famous Lancashire club move up into the automatic promotion places in League Two, and they’ll be aiming to make it four league wins on the trot when they take on lowly Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday night. Accrington have recorded wins over Stevenage, Swindon Town and Coventry City in recent weeks which has helped lift them up into second spot behind league leaders, Luton Town, and they could reduce the deficit to just three points adrift of Luton with a win here. Stanley have won their last four on the trot at their Wham Stadium amidst an overall home record that stands at  10-2-3  31/17, and with their attacking trio of Kee (18 goals), McConville (10 goals) and Jackson (11 goals) in goalscoring form, they look in good shape for this clash. Crewe Alexandra put an end to four straight league defeats in League Two on Saturday when they earned a point in a dour 0-0 draw at home with fellow strugglers, Yeovil Town, at their Alexandra Stadium, but they face a tough trip to Accrington on Tuesday evening. Recent defeats to Carlisle United, Wycombe Wanderers, Swindon Town and Notts County have plunged The Railwaymen into the relegation dogfight near the foot of the table, and they are now just three points clear of second from bottom outfit, Chesterfield. An away record of  3-0-12  14/29 doesn’t help matters, nor do four straight defeats away from home prior to this encounter, and with just three clean sheets to their name on their travels to date, it’ll take a great effort to avoid defeat here at Accrington I fancy. Accrington Stanley v Swindon Town Betting Tips: BTTS, 2018-02-06

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v SWINDON TOWN Tuesday 6th February 2018 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips There’s just the one fixture in League Two on Tuesday night, but what a cracker this promises to be with fifth placed Accrington Stanley taking on seventh placed Swindon Town at the Wham Stadium with both teams hunting down an automatic promotion spot. Accrington Stanley produced a fantastic comeback on Saturday when they beat Stevenage 3-2 after being 2-0 down, but a brace from McConville (10 goals) and a goal from leading goalscorer, Kee (17 goals), ensured a valuable three points for Stanley who are just two points adrift of a top three place in League Two. That win on Saturday became Accrington’s fifth win from their last six matches, and with a fairly solid home record which stands at  9-2-3  29/16 under their belts so far, they’ll be confident of taking something from this match. Swindon Town were held to a 2-2 draw away at Lincoln City on the weekend, but The Robins may well be thinking what could have been as they held a 2-1 lead until Lincoln struck an equaliser deep into injury time to earn a point. Swindon hit the road again Tuesday night as they make their way up to Lancashire to face Accrington Stanley, but this won’t faze the visitors too much as they possess the best away record in League Two with an impressive record of  10-1-4  28/15, along with just one defeat from their last seven league matches overall. In addition, Swindon have lost just twice in their last nine on their travels, and this sequence includes six wins as well as scoring in all bar one of their 15 away matches to date, with forward Norris (11 goals) doing most of the damage. I therefore fancy both teams to hit the back of the net tonight. Pick: Both teams to score @ 1.75 bwin

Accrington Stanley v Stevenage Betting Tips: 1, 2018-02-03

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v STEVENAGE Saturday 3rd February 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips League Two provides quite a few decent betting opportunities this weekend, and my first pick features Accrington Stanley taking on Stevenage at the Wham Stadium as the hosts look to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat away at Crawley Town. Before that defeat, Accrington had put together a promising four-match winning streak which includes wins over Grimsby Town, Chesterfield, Cheltenham Town and Port Vale and they now sit on the fringes of the play-off pack. Three points this afternoon would certainly help their cause in jumping into the top seven, and with a decent looking home record of  8-2-3  26/14 under their belts, as well as having won three of their last four on home turf, they’ll fancy their chances here. 14th placed Stevenage also had an encouraging set of results in recent times come to an end during the week when they suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Swindon Town, as they’d registered wins over Cheltenham Town and Chesterfield as well as taking points off Morecambe and Carlisle United in draws. However, Stevenage have managed just one away win from their last ten on the road, and that was a 1-0 win at the aforementioned Chesterfield who occupy a lowly third from bottom position in League Two. An away record of  4-2-9  11/24 still needs further improvement if they’re to climb into the top half of the division, but having chalked up just one clean sheet from their last ten on their travels, they’ll find things tough going at Accrington today I daresay. Pick: Accrington Stanley to win @ 1.91 William Hill

Accrington Stanley v Port Vale Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2018-01-20

League One/Two Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v PORT VALE Saturday 20th January 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - League Two Betting Tips Accrington Stanley will be keen to maintain their automatic promotion spot in League Two on Saturday afternoon when they take on bottom half outfit Port Vale when the two teams meet at the Wham Stadium. However, it hasn’t always been plain sailing for Accrington as they wobbled at the end of November and throughout December, which saw them lose four straight league matches on the bounce with losses to Exeter City, Lincoln City, Crawley Town and Carlisle United. It should be noted that three of these four defeats were inflicted upon them away from home though, and since that bump in the road, Accrington have bounced back with three wins on the trot over Grimsby Town, Chesterfield and Cheltenham Town. Stanley also possess a pretty strong home record of  7-2-3  23/12 with strikers Kee (15 goals) and Jackson (10 goals) looking to cash in today. Almost the opposite has happened to visitors Port Vale as they put together a promising sequence of results during December which saw The Valiants register wins over Cambridge United, Carlisle United, Coventry City and most impressive of all, a 4-0 victory over league leaders, Luton Town. Three of these four wins were recorded at their Vale Park though, and they’ve since slumped to three league matches without a win that includes back-to-back defeats to Notts County and Forest Green Rovers, along with a 1-1 draw with Yeovil Town. With just one away win from their last six trips (a 2-1 win at 13th placed Carlisle) and an ordinary looking away record of  4-3-7  13//17 so far on their travels, they look to be up against it at Accrington today. Pick: Accrington Stanley AH0 @ 1.65 Bet Victor
