Accrington Stanley v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1 AH-1, 2017-11-14

FA Cup & League Cup Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v GUISELEY Tuesday 14th November 2017 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - FA Cup Betting Tips Accrington Stanley and Guiseley meet for the second time in 10 days as they feature in this FA Cup first round replay at the Wham Stadium on Tuesday night following a 0-0 draw last time out. Accrington Stanley are now seemingly in the driving seat ahead of the replay, not only because they hold home advantage, but Stanley have put together a five match unbeaten run going into this cup replay having recorded wins over Crewe Alexandra and Barnet in League Two as well as a resounding 4-0 win away at League One side, Wigan Athletic, in the Football Trophy. Accrington have also registered recent back-to-back wins on home turf with league wins over Coventry City and the aforementioned Barnet, and manager, John Coleman, has various attacking options open to him such as a potent forward line consisting of Kee (10 goals), Jackson (7 goals), along with Clark and McConville (4 goals apiece. Visitors Guiseley had also put together a useful run of six matches without defeat prior to the weekend’s 1-0 loss at home to Bromley in the National League, and they now face an uphill task of overcoming an in-form Accrington Stanley, especially considering their recent results away from home. Guiseley have recorded just one win from their last 11 on their travels, which was a 3-2 win at Woking, and whilst their results have improved in the past few matches (three draws and a win), they had previously suffered five defeats from the previous six matches beforehand. In addition, Guiseley don’t possess the same quality in attack as Accrington, and this should become evident in Tuesday night’s cup replay. Pick: Accrington Stanley AH-1 @ 1.72 Bet Victor

Leyton Orient v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-09-02

Non-League Tips
LEYTON ORIENT v GUISELEY Saturday 2nd September 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Leyton Orient secured a valuable three points during the week with a 1-0 win away at Maidenhead United which has lifted The O’s up into third spot in the National League ahead of their home game against lowly Guiseley at the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Following last season’s disastrous relegation from League Two, Leyton Orient now find themselves in the non-league top tier for this new season, but the London club have made a good start to their new campaign with four wins from their first seven league matches. Home form will be crucial if they’re to challenge for automatic promotion this season, and the early signs are good as they hold a record of  2-1-0  6/2 so far which includes wins over Solihull Moors and Maidstone United. Visitors Guiseley suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to newcomers Hartlepool United in their midweek bottom half clash and they now face a tough trip down to the nation’s capital for this encounter against a Leyton Orient side who are beginning to build momentum. That midweek loss now makes it four defeats from their first seven matches for Guiseley who now occupy one of the early relegation places, third from bottom in the National League. In addition, Guiseley have suffered three defeats away from home on the trot having lost at Gateshead, Aldershot Town and Halifax Town. To make matters worse, Guiseley have failed to score in each of these three losses on their travels, and have failed to hit the back of the net in four of their last five on the road. This should be a comfortable win for the hosts here. Pick: Leyton Orient to win @ 1.55 William Hill

Guiseley v Hartlepool Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2017-08-28

Non-League Tips
GUISELEY v HARTLEPOOL UNITED Monday 28th August 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Next up is what could be called an early relegation battle between two struggling sides near the foot of the National League table with hosts, Guiseley, taking on relegated former League Two side, Hartlepool United at their Nethermoor Park. Fourth from bottom club, Guiseley, have made a slow start to their new non-league top flight campaign having recorded just one win from their first six league matches, which was a 3-2 home win over fellow strugglers, Torquay United. It could be a long season for Guiseley who have managed just two wins from their last 15 matches overall, but they do hold an unbeaten record of four matches on home turf ahead of this afternoon’s clash with Hartlepool following draws with Solihull Moors, Ebbsfleet United and Tranmere as well as the Torquay win. Recently relegated from League Two, Hartlepool United have struggled in the early weeks of their new season in the National League as they’re still without a win from their first six matches of this new season. It’s never easy for new sides to adapt coming into this division, and Pools are no exception as they’ve suffered four defeats in these six matches with losses to Dover Athletic, Maidenhead United, Bromley and Fylde. The early signs suggest that this, too, could be a long campaign for the north-east outfit who have lost 18 of their last 23 matches away from home in all competitions, which includes just two wins within this demoralising sequence of results. With this in mind, Guiseley look a good bet to at least avoid defeat here today. Pick: Guiseley AH0 @ 2.07 Bet Victor

Gateshead v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-03-21

Non-League Tips
GATESHEAD v GUISELEY Tuesday 21st March 2017 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Gateshead maintained their push for the play-offs in the National League on Saturday when they registered a valuable 2-1 home win over struggling Woking, and they once again hold home advantage at their Gateshead International Stadium on Tuesday night when they take on bottom half outfit Guiseley. The win on Saturday extended Gateshead’s unbeaten sequence to eight matches overall, of which Gateshead have racked up seven wins during this impressive run. Despite this recent win though, The Heed still only hold a slender two-point lead over Dover Athletic ahead of Tuesday night’s round of matches. But Gateshead do possess a strong record on home turf which now stands at 9-8-2 35/16 and they’re unbeaten in their last seven matches, which includes four straight wins on the trot. Leading goalscorers Johnson (18 goals) and York (9 goals) notched on the weekend. Visitors Guiseley extended their unbeaten run in the National League to four matches on the weekend when they earned a point away at Boreham Wood in a 0-0 stalemate which followed on from earlier wins over Barrow, Torquay United and Aldershot Town. But despite Guiseley’s recent improvement in form in the past few weeks, and recent wins chalked up at Dagenham and Torquay, their overall results away from home throughout this season have been disappointing. Guiseley hold a below-par record of 3-4-12 15/32 overall, and this also includes a poor record away at top half opposition which reads a sorry looking 2-0-8 8/20. Therefore, their revival may have to wait for another match… Pick: Gateshead to win @ 1.53 Bet Victor

Wrexham v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-02-04

Non-League Tips
WREXHAM v GUISELEY Saturday 4th February 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Wrexham can break into the top half of the National League with a win this afternoon when they take on lowly Guiseley at their Racecourse Ground, and with home form being pretty consistent throughout this campaign to date, the hosts look well set for the points here. Wrexham currently sit mid-table but head into this fixture on the back of four league matches without defeat which includes wins over Woking, North Ferriby United and Boreham Wood along with a point gained in their local derby with Chester. As mentioned earlier, The Dragons also possess a useful looking home record which stands at  9-4-3  18/13 which includes having won their last four on the trot on home turf. The last time these two sides met, the game ended in a 3-3 draw. Visitors Guiseley currently occupy one of the relegation spots in the National League as they’ve had to endure a difficult campaign which has seen them secure just 7 league wins to date - 6 of which have been registered at their Nethermoor Park ground. They’ll therefore be looking to their home form to lift themselves out of their current plight, particularly when you consider their poor record on their travels which has seen them record just one win all season on the road amidst an overall record of  1-3-11 10/27. Even though this away win came in their last trip with a 2-1 victory at Macclesfield Town, it remains to be seen whether they can repeat this feat against a more consistent home outfit of Wrexham, and my money is on the hosts to take the spoils here. Pick; Wrexham to win @ 1.83 Bet Victor

Lincoln v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-01-01

Non-League Tips
LINCOLN CITY v GUISELEY Sunday 1st January 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Lincoln City’s amazing 12-match run without defeat recently ended when they went down to a 2-1 defeat away at tonight’s opponents Guiseley, but with home advantage behind them here a Sincil Bank, Lincoln will be pressing for revenge in this New Year’s day clash. Lincoln currently occupy second place in the National League and are just one point behind current league leaders Tranmere Rovers, but with Rovers having to make the trip to Macclesfield this afternoon, the door could swing open for Lincoln to take over at the top if they manage a win. The Imps have won their last three matches on the trot on home turf having gained victories over Maidstone United, Wrexham and the aforementioned Tranmere Rovers, and with a solid home record of  8-3-2  28/10 under their belts so far, the hosts will be confident of bouncing back here. Visitors Guiseley currently sit in the bottom four of the National League despite that recent win over Lincoln City but they have also put together a decent run of form in recent weeks as they’re unbeaten in their last five matches overall. However, most of the good work has been achieved at their Nethermoor Park ground this season as they’ve lost just four matches to date on home turf, but it’s their away form that has been the worrying factor for the visitors with a record of  0-3-10  7/23 to date this term. In addition to keeping just one clean sheet on their travels so far, Guiseley have failed to score in six of their last seven away matches, and their lack of scoring goals away from home could again be their undoing at Lincoln this afternoon. Pick: Lincoln City to win @ 1.50 Betway

York v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2016-11-29

Non-League Tips
YORK CITY v GUISELEY Tuesday 29th November 2016 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips My next pick features two teams struggling at the bottom of the English National League with hosts York City taking on Guiseley at Bootham Crescent with a precious three points up for grabs for both sides in their quest to avoid relegation. York are on a miserable run of form right now as they’ve failed to win any of their last 14 league matches (and indeed have lost 9 of these), as they sit second from bottom in the non-league top flight but they’ll fancy their chances of ending this dismal run this evening with home ground advantage. The Minstermen hold a reasonable looking home record of  3-4-4  14/13 and they also hold an impressive record at home against teams in the bottom half of the division with a record of  3-0-0  9/1 having beaten Macclesfield Town, Woking and Solihull Moors. Visitors Guiseley have fared slightly better in their overall league results of late than their counterparts York City as they’ve gained four wins from their last nine matches played, but it should be noted that all four of these wins were achieved at their Nethermoor Park ground with wins recorded against tonight’s opponents York City (6-1), Southport, Torquay United and Boreham Wood. However, Guiseley are third from bottom in the National League for a reason, and that is due to their woeful away record which stands at an atrocious  0-1-10  6/22 as they’ve picked up just one point from the possible 33 on offer to date! That point was earned in a 1-1 draw with 18th placed Maidstone United but they head into this encounter on the back of five straight defeats on the road (and all to nil I might add). Pick: York City AH0 @ 1.66 Unibet

Dover v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2016-11-19

Non-League Tips
DOVER ATHLETIC v GUISELEY Saturday 19th November 2016 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Dover Athletic will be looking to break into the play-off pack in the National League on Saturday afternoon when they entertain second from bottom outfit Guiseley at their Perrys Crabble Stadium having won three of their last four matches overall. Recent wins over Braintree Town in a heavy 6-1 victory, 2-0 away at Bromley and last weekend’s 3-2 win at Solihull Moors have lifted Dover into sixth place and they now sit just one league position and one point adrift of Barrow who currently occupy the last play-off spot as we head into this weekend. Dover’s home record stands at  6-0-3  23/16 but their recent four-match winning sequence came to an end last time out when they suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to third placed Tranmere Rovers. However, with the likes of prolific striker Miller (18 goals) banging in the goals, the home side could well bounce back today. Visitors Guiseley have endured a difficult campaign so far this season as they sit second from bottom in the National League but they’ll be hopeful that they can build upon their recent 2-0 home win over Torquay United when they make their way down to the coast today. However, Guiseley have managed just three league wins so far this season and all of them have come at their Nethermoor Park ground having registered wins over York City, Southport and Torquay united. But it’s one thing to record wins over teams that are also situated in the bottom half of the division (and at home), but a very different prospect having to travel to an in-form Dover side. In addition, Guiseley hold a poor away record that stands at  0-1-8  6/17 as they’ve taken just one point from a possible total of 27! Pick: Dover Athletic to win @ 1.62 Ladbrokes

Sutton v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2016-10-01

Non-League Tips
SUTTON UNITED v GUISELEY Saturday 1st October 2016 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Sutton United will be looking to break out of their current slump in form in the National League when they take on struggling Guiseley at their Borough Sports Ground as the home side look to regain their form on home turf. They won’t have a better chance to do so than against Guiseley today who have really struggled in the step up in leagues following promotion from the National League North, and the visitors currently sit rock-bottom in the division. Three away games in their last five certainly hasn’t helped Sutton United as they have lost at Gateshead, Wrexham and Eastleigh (all difficult fixtures in their own right), but they do have a reasonably good record at home with stats of  4-0-2  8/5 which includes a 1-0 home win over Tranmere Rovers last time out. Visitors Guiseley have had very little to cheer about in this season’s National League campaign to date as they’ve picked up just three points so far this term courtesy of two draws at home and a point away from home. However, it’s now 12 games so far this season without a league win, and it’s just one league win from their last 15 played in this division which was a home win over Torquay United back in May of last season. Guiseley’s away record this season stands at a poor  0-1-5  6/12 and they’ve actually gained just 2 away wins from their last 23 on the road in the National League and it’s a wonder they’re still in the non-league top flight with such a bad record away from home! Pick: Sutton United to win @ 1.67 William Hill

Chester v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2016-09-13

Non-League Tips
CHESTER v GUISELEY Tuesday 13th September 2016 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Chester will be hoping to put some recent ordinary results behind them on Tuesday night when they take on bottom of the National League Guiseley at their Lookers Vauxhall Stadium by taking all three points which could lift them away from the relegation zone. Chester are on a three-game run without a win in the non-league top flight having suffered back-to-back defeats to Woking (away) and Forest Green Rovers (at home) but they did hold in-form Aldershot Town to a 0-0 draw on the weekend which should have given them a bit of a confidence boost ahead of tonight’s clash. Indifferent home form has been the story for Chester thus far this season as their record of  2-0-2  9/5 shows, having beaten Dagenham and Sutton United, but also losing to Maidstone United and Forest Green both of whom are sitting in the top half of the division). Visitors Guiseley have made a wretched start to their new National League campaign as they sit rock-bottom of the division with just two points to their name from a possible 27 on offer so far; and having narrowly avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth at the end of last season, it looks like another long, hard season for them this time around too. To make matters worse, Guiseley’s two points were both earned in recent back-to-back draws with Braintree and Woking in 0-0 and 1-1 stalemates respectively, while their away form has been simply woeful so far this season. A record of  0-0-4  5/9 tells its own story after having been delat defeats at Eastleigh, North Ferriby, Solihull Moors and Tranmere Rovers, and they’ve actually lost eight of their last nine on their travels overall. Pick; Chester to win @ 1.87 Bet Victor
