Boreham Wood v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1 HT/FT, 2018-04-28

Non-League Tips
BOREHAM WOOD v GUISELEY Saturday 28th April 2018 - Kickoff: 1230hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips It’s the final day of the National League season this Saturday and all games will kick off at lunchtime, and my next pick features Boreham Wood entertaining bottom club Guiseley, who have already been relegated when the teams meet at Meadow Park. Boreham Wood currently occupy seventh place and the last remaining play-off spot ahead of this encounter, and the hosts will be desperate to register all three points here which would confirm a top seven finish and a play-off spot, but having lost three of their last four matches overall, Boreham Wood will need to pull their socks up here. On home turf though, Boreham Wood have been fairly consistent throughout this campaign and have lost just twice in their last nine amidst an overall record of  11-5-6  30/24 which includes recent wins over Tranmere Rovers and Chester. Midfielder Andrade (19 goals) and former QPR striker, Balanta (10 goals) are the ones to watch for the hosts. Guiseley will play their last league match in the non-league top flight when they make their way to Hertfordshire to take on Boreham Wood as they were relegated some weeks ago, despite their midweek 4-3 win away at fellow relegated, Torquay United. The visitors have had to endure a wretched campaign in the National League which has seen them record just seven league wins all season, and although they’ve picked up recent wins at Hartlepool United and the aforementioned Torquay, it was too little too late as Guiseley had suffered a seven-match losing streak on the road beforehand. An away record of  4-3-15  22/53 also includes the visitors possessing the worst defensive record away from home in the division by some margin, and they’ve kept just three clean sheets on their travels all season. Pick: Boreham Wood HT/FT @ 1.85 Bet Victor

Bromley v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2018-03-10

Non-League Tips
BROMLEY v GUISELEY Saturday 10th March 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Bromley will be keen to return to winning ways in the National League on Saturday afternoon when they take on bottom club, Guiseley, at their H2T Group Stadium, and keep their hopes of a play-off place alive. Following three league matches without a win - draws against Maidstone United and Aldershot Town either side of a 1-0 defeat away from home at Tranmere Rovers, has cost Bromley valuable ground on the play-off pack, and they’re now eight points adrift of seventh placed Wrexham ahead of this weekend’s action in the non-league top flight. Bromley will be relying on their form on home turf where they’ve lost just once in their last six, which was a 1-0 loss to Fylde, but recent wins over Ebbsfleet united and Halifax Town along with creditable points against sixth placed Dover Athletic and National League leaders, Macclesfield Town, have kept their play-off ambitions alive. Guiseley on the other hand, look to have their work cut out to simply just survive in the non-league top flight as they find themselves 11 points adrift of safety with just 11 league matches of the season remaining. Time is therefore starting to run out for the basement dwellers, and even though they registered a vital 1-0 home win over Fylde a couple of weeks ago, their balance sheet has taken a huge dent with losing eight of their last nine matches overall. The visitors have also lost their last six on the trot away from home amidst a poor record of  2-3-13  15/45, and along with possessing the worst defensive record on the road in the division, Guiseley have also failed to find the back of the net in 8 of their 18 away matches to date. Pick: Bromley to win @ 1.65 Marathonbet

Macclesfield Town v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2018-02-10

Non-League Tips
MACCLESFIELD TOWN v GUISELEY Saturday 10th February 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Following a disappointing run of three matches without a win in the National League, Macclesfield Town will be looking to assert their authority at their Moss Rose ground on Saturday afternoon when they play host to bottom club, Guiseley. Disappointing draws at home with Solihull Moors 0-0 and Torquay United 1-1 were either side of a 6-0 hammering dished out by Fylde in their last away match, but with a home record of  7-6-3  20/16 under their belts, along with an unbeaten seven match sequence under their belts, The Silkmen will be keen to return to the top of the division. Macclesfield have recently surrendered top spot to Wrexham, but with recent wins over Wrexham 4-1 along with victories over Halifax and Sutton United, they should bounce back with a win today. Look out for forward Wilson (11 goals) up front here. Guiseley sit bottom of the National League following a miserable run of four straight defeats in the non league top flight as they’ve slumped to losses against Eastleigh, Fylde, Dover Athletic and Wrexham. Although three of these four defeats were away from home, there’s likely to be no respite for the visitors as they hit the road again to Macclesfield this Saturday. Guiseley are without a win from their last six overall, and indeed have captured just one win from their last 12 matches, so it’s no surprise to see them propping up the table ahead of this encounter; in addition, Guiseley have lost their last four away matches on the trot amidst an overall record of  2-3-11  14/39. Given Guiseley’s poor sequence of results in recent times, I’ll back Macclesfield for the points in this one. Pick: Macclesfield to win @ 1.82 Marathonbet

Fylde v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2018-01-13

Non-League Tips
FYLDE v GUISELEY Saturday 13th January 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Fylde were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw on Tuesday night by National League strugglers, Chester, at Fylde’s Mill Farm ground, but they’ll hold home advantage once again on Saturday afternoon when they entertain second from bottom club, Guiseley. Although they were unable to grab all three points, The Coasters nevertheless extended their unbeaten run in the non-league top flight to four matches which also includes wins over Maidenhead United, Tranmere Rovers and Bromley, along with possessing a pretty solid home record as well. A home record of  4-6-2  20/16 includes an unbeaten stretch of six matches on home turf which consists of wins over Wrexham and Torquay United as well as the aforementioned Tranmere. The host’s leading goalscorer, Danny Rowe (14 goals) notched against Chester, and he’s supported by Muldoon (7 goals). Guiseley sit second from bottom in the National League and although they’ve been beaten on just four occasions at home so far this season, their results away from home are one of the main reasons why they’re fighting against relegation in the bottom four of the league. Guiseley have recorded just one league win from their last nine matches overall, and an away record of  2-3-9  12/35 includes four defeats from their last five which were losses at Dagenham & Redbridge, Ebbsfleet United, Tranmere Rovers and Eastleigh. Only a 2-0 win at Chester has spared Guiseley a five-match losing streak, but having kept just two clean sheets on their travels all season so far, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rowe etc take full advantage on Saturday. Pick: Fylde to win @ 1.79 Marathonbet

Guiseley v Gateshead Betting Tips: Draw, 2018-01-09

Non-League Tips
GUISELEY v GATESHEAD Tuesday 9th January 2018 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Guiseley slumped to a second defeat in three matches on Saturday when they lost 4-2 away at Eastleigh, which has left them second from bottom in the National League and some nine points adrift of the safety of 20th place in the division. Guiseley’s loss at Eastleigh was their second on the trot on their travels as they’d previously been on the end of a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Tranmere Rovers at Prenton Park, but there’s a glimmer of hope for the hosts as they return to their Nethermoor Park for tonight’s clash with Gateshead as they’ve drawn three of their last five at home. Indeed, The Lions have lost just twice in their last six on home soil amidst an overall record of  2-7-4  13/15, with only Eastleigh (8 draws) being involved in more stalemates at home than them so far this season. Forward Liburd (4 goals) looks the most likely for the home side. Gateshead also come into this match on the back of a recent dip in form which has seen them go six league matches without a win, with defeats to Barrow and Sutton United (both at their Gateshead International Stadium). However, The Heed have also been involved in a number of draws as well during this six-match sequence, four in fact, as their encounters with Solihull Moors, Torquay United and Hartlepool United (home and away) have all ended in stalemate. Away from home, the picture looks a little brighter as they’re on a five match unbeaten streak, but this also includes draws in each of their last three on their travels within an overall record of  2-7-4  16/16, which is almost identical to that of Guiseley’s home record to date. With both sides seemingly lacking cutting edge up front, I’ll back another draw here. Pick: Draw @ 3.48 Marathonbet

Eastleigh v Guiseley Betting Tips: 2 AH+1, 2018-01-06

Non-League Tips
EASTLEIGH v GUISELEY Saturday 6th January 2018 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Although Eastleigh occupy a lowly 18th place on the National League ladder, they’ll have been boosted by a recent four-match unbeaten run which has helped them keep a potential relegation battle at bay for the time being. Draws with Bromley, Torquay United and Woking along with a 2-1 win away at Dagenham & Redbridge means The Spitfires come into this encounter in reasonably confident mood although they’ll be keen to improve upon recent results at their Silverlake Stadium. A home record of  3-8-3  22/22 is heavily draw-centric, and indeed, the hosts have drawn each of their last four matches on home turf, and are without a win from their last seven matches overall. They’ve beaten the asian handicap -1 margin on just one occasion all season, which was a 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers back in August. Visitors Guiseley currently occupy second from bottom in the National League as they make the long trip down south for this Saturday’s clash having registered just one league win from their last eight outings overall. That win came in a 2-0 victory away at third from bottom club Chester, and although they’ve lost five of these last eight matches, they’ve also picked up draws against Aldershot Town and Chester (at home). Guiseley’s away record also needs improvement as it stands at a below-par  2-3-8  10/31 but have recorded wins at Woking and Chester, and although they’ve conceded the most goals away from home in the division, they stand a good chance of covering the asian line here. Pick: Guiseley AH+1 @ 1.51 Marathonbet

Accrington Stanley v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1 AH-1, 2017-11-14

FA Cup & League Cup Tips
ACCRINGTON STANLEY v GUISELEY Tuesday 14th November 2017 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - FA Cup Betting Tips Accrington Stanley and Guiseley meet for the second time in 10 days as they feature in this FA Cup first round replay at the Wham Stadium on Tuesday night following a 0-0 draw last time out. Accrington Stanley are now seemingly in the driving seat ahead of the replay, not only because they hold home advantage, but Stanley have put together a five match unbeaten run going into this cup replay having recorded wins over Crewe Alexandra and Barnet in League Two as well as a resounding 4-0 win away at League One side, Wigan Athletic, in the Football Trophy. Accrington have also registered recent back-to-back wins on home turf with league wins over Coventry City and the aforementioned Barnet, and manager, John Coleman, has various attacking options open to him such as a potent forward line consisting of Kee (10 goals), Jackson (7 goals), along with Clark and McConville (4 goals apiece. Visitors Guiseley had also put together a useful run of six matches without defeat prior to the weekend’s 1-0 loss at home to Bromley in the National League, and they now face an uphill task of overcoming an in-form Accrington Stanley, especially considering their recent results away from home. Guiseley have recorded just one win from their last 11 on their travels, which was a 3-2 win at Woking, and whilst their results have improved in the past few matches (three draws and a win), they had previously suffered five defeats from the previous six matches beforehand. In addition, Guiseley don’t possess the same quality in attack as Accrington, and this should become evident in Tuesday night’s cup replay. Pick: Accrington Stanley AH-1 @ 1.72 Bet Victor

Leyton Orient v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-09-02

Non-League Tips
LEYTON ORIENT v GUISELEY Saturday 2nd September 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Leyton Orient secured a valuable three points during the week with a 1-0 win away at Maidenhead United which has lifted The O’s up into third spot in the National League ahead of their home game against lowly Guiseley at the Matchroom Stadium on Saturday afternoon. Following last season’s disastrous relegation from League Two, Leyton Orient now find themselves in the non-league top tier for this new season, but the London club have made a good start to their new campaign with four wins from their first seven league matches. Home form will be crucial if they’re to challenge for automatic promotion this season, and the early signs are good as they hold a record of  2-1-0  6/2 so far which includes wins over Solihull Moors and Maidstone United. Visitors Guiseley suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to newcomers Hartlepool United in their midweek bottom half clash and they now face a tough trip down to the nation’s capital for this encounter against a Leyton Orient side who are beginning to build momentum. That midweek loss now makes it four defeats from their first seven matches for Guiseley who now occupy one of the early relegation places, third from bottom in the National League. In addition, Guiseley have suffered three defeats away from home on the trot having lost at Gateshead, Aldershot Town and Halifax Town. To make matters worse, Guiseley have failed to score in each of these three losses on their travels, and have failed to hit the back of the net in four of their last five on the road. This should be a comfortable win for the hosts here. Pick: Leyton Orient to win @ 1.55 William Hill

Guiseley v Hartlepool Betting Tips: 1 AH0, 2017-08-28

Non-League Tips
GUISELEY v HARTLEPOOL UNITED Monday 28th August 2017 - Kickoff: 1500hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Next up is what could be called an early relegation battle between two struggling sides near the foot of the National League table with hosts, Guiseley, taking on relegated former League Two side, Hartlepool United at their Nethermoor Park. Fourth from bottom club, Guiseley, have made a slow start to their new non-league top flight campaign having recorded just one win from their first six league matches, which was a 3-2 home win over fellow strugglers, Torquay United. It could be a long season for Guiseley who have managed just two wins from their last 15 matches overall, but they do hold an unbeaten record of four matches on home turf ahead of this afternoon’s clash with Hartlepool following draws with Solihull Moors, Ebbsfleet United and Tranmere as well as the Torquay win. Recently relegated from League Two, Hartlepool United have struggled in the early weeks of their new season in the National League as they’re still without a win from their first six matches of this new season. It’s never easy for new sides to adapt coming into this division, and Pools are no exception as they’ve suffered four defeats in these six matches with losses to Dover Athletic, Maidenhead United, Bromley and Fylde. The early signs suggest that this, too, could be a long campaign for the north-east outfit who have lost 18 of their last 23 matches away from home in all competitions, which includes just two wins within this demoralising sequence of results. With this in mind, Guiseley look a good bet to at least avoid defeat here today. Pick: Guiseley AH0 @ 2.07 Bet Victor

Gateshead v Guiseley Betting Tips: 1, 2017-03-21

Non-League Tips
GATESHEAD v GUISELEY Tuesday 21st March 2017 - Kickoff: 1945hrs Football - England - National League Betting Tips Gateshead maintained their push for the play-offs in the National League on Saturday when they registered a valuable 2-1 home win over struggling Woking, and they once again hold home advantage at their Gateshead International Stadium on Tuesday night when they take on bottom half outfit Guiseley. The win on Saturday extended Gateshead’s unbeaten sequence to eight matches overall, of which Gateshead have racked up seven wins during this impressive run. Despite this recent win though, The Heed still only hold a slender two-point lead over Dover Athletic ahead of Tuesday night’s round of matches. But Gateshead do possess a strong record on home turf which now stands at 9-8-2 35/16 and they’re unbeaten in their last seven matches, which includes four straight wins on the trot. Leading goalscorers Johnson (18 goals) and York (9 goals) notched on the weekend. Visitors Guiseley extended their unbeaten run in the National League to four matches on the weekend when they earned a point away at Boreham Wood in a 0-0 stalemate which followed on from earlier wins over Barrow, Torquay United and Aldershot Town. But despite Guiseley’s recent improvement in form in the past few weeks, and recent wins chalked up at Dagenham and Torquay, their overall results away from home throughout this season have been disappointing. Guiseley hold a below-par record of 3-4-12 15/32 overall, and this also includes a poor record away at top half opposition which reads a sorry looking 2-0-8 8/20. Therefore, their revival may have to wait for another match… Pick: Gateshead to win @ 1.53 Bet Victor
