Tottenham will be keen to avoid a third defeat on the trot in the Premier League when they play host to Chelsea at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following losses against Liverpool and Brighton respectively.
These defeats have resulted in Spurs sitting in 6th place and six points adrift of the top four in the English top flight but recent overall results have produced just two wins out of their last nine matches which came in the shape of wins against Leeds United and Sheffield United.
