Toulouse sit in 14th place in Ligue 1 and thanks to recent wins at Reims and Lille, have so far managed to keep their heads above water and avoided dropping down into the relegation dogfight that ensues below them.
The hosts hold a four point cushion ahead of the relegation play-off spot and Dijon ahead of this midweek action in the French top flight, but although they’ve registered the aforementioned wins over Reims and Lille, these were both away from home and away from the pressures of performing at their Stadium de Toulouse I fancy.

Lyon have suffered just one defeat in their last 10 matches overall in the French top flight which was a surprise 2-0 loss at home to Rennes, but they’ve put together a promising four-match unbeaten sequence away from home which will give them confidence on this trip too.
Lyon possess an away record of 3-3-2 14/14 which at first glance doesn’t appear to be too impressive, but recent wins at Angers and Guingamp along with points at 2nd placed Lille and 5th placed Montpellier have seen an improvement in recent travels.
Midfielder Aouar (6 goals) along with an impressive forward line of Traore (6 goals), Depay (5 goals), Dembele and Fekir (4 goals apiece) should make life very difficult for Toulouse here.
