Copa del Rey Betting at Bet Victor

Valencia Prediction

Valencia are currently enjoying a solid and impressive run of results at the moment as the hosts are unbeaten in their last nine matches in all competitions which include a La Liga win against Villarreal as well as a Copa del Rey 3-0 victory over Getafe in the previous round of the domestic cup competition.

The hosts are also through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League having disposed of Scottish champions Celtic 3-0 on aggregate over their two-legged round of 16 clash recently, and they now hold home advantage against Real Betis in this second leg of the Copa del Rey.

The scores are still level as we head into this important second leg with Valencia avoiding defeat away at the Estadio Benito Villamarín in Sevilla, and they’ll now fancy their chances of progressing through to the final of the Copa del Rey where the winner of this tie will meet Barcelona in the final.

The most likely anytime goalscorers for Valencia are forwards Rodrigo (4 goals) or Gameiro (3 goals) here.

Key-Facts – Valencia v Real Betis

  • Valencia are unbeaten in their last 9 matches in all competitions
  • Valencia have kept 5 clean sheets from these last 9 matches
  • Real Betis have won just 1 of their last 6 matches in all competitions

Real Betis Prediction

By contrast, Real Betis were without a win from their previous five matches in all competitions prior to their much needed 2-0 win away at lowly Real Valladolid on the weekend in La Liga, but it hasn’t been a very successful week for the visitors as they were sent crashing out of the Europa League by French club, Rennes.

With the scores level at 3-3 after the first leg of the round of 16 in Rennes, Real Betis were expected to progress through to the quarter-finals of the competition as they returned to their Estadio Benito Villamarín for the all-important second leg, but instead they were handed a heavy 3-1 loss.

The visitors did well to bounce back with a win on the weekend, but they’ll be facing a much more solid and confident outfit in the shape of Valencia here on Thursday night as manager Quique Setien and his side face another big test in their second cup clash within seven days.

Betting Tips Verdict

Looking at both teams’ recent results, you have to favour Valencia here as they’ve put together some decent results in recent weeks while Real Betis have recently crashed out of the Europa League when they were expected to get a result the other day. The hosts to win here I fancy.
