Viktoria Plzen picked up a useful result away at Partizan in the first leg of this round of 16 in the Europa League as they held the hosts to a 1-1 draw in Belgrade, and they’ll now be looking to finish the job in hand when they host the second leg at their Doosan Aréna in Plzen.

The hosts have lost just twice in their last ten matches overall in the Europa League (which were both away from home), and they possess dangerous striker Krmencik (11 goals) up front.
Serbian outfit, Partizan Belgrade, perhaps missed their best opportunity to progress through to the quarter-finals as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Viktoria Plzen, and they now face a difficult trip to Plzen to beat a side who have won their last five home games at this level.
Partizan finished runners-up to winners, Dynamo Kiev in Group B, but in truth, this evening’s visitors seemed to flatter to deceive throughout the group stage up until the final match, which saw them crash to a 4-1 defeat away at the aforementioned Dynamo Kiev.
Partizan failed to win a single match away from home during the group phase, and indeed, they’ve been restricted to just three away wins from their last ten on their travels in the Europa League.
